Introduction

This is an electronic portfolio of some of the work I completed while a student at Emporia State University’s Master of Library Science program (SLIM Portland, OR) between the summer of 2007 and summer of 2009. This Capstone represents the cumulative learning experience during that time.

Currently I work as a library technician at St. John Medical Center’s Minthorn Medical Library in Longview, WA. A few of my professional interests include private libraries (particularly medical), teaching information literacy, database design and management and research.
